Privacy policy

Last updated 22 October 2026.

AfroAmplify is a creative agency with a creator desk. This policy explains personal information we collect on afroamplify.com and related tools we run for the same work. It is written for our first markets, with South Africa’s POPIA in mind. Signed commercial contracts may add terms; those still need local counsel.

Who we are

The public name is AfroAmplify. The public site is www.afroamplify.com. Contact us at chat@afroamplify.com.

What we collect

We collect what you send on our forms, and records our team needs to run the work:

We do not ask creators to collect customer cash or customer identity documents. Creators explain a service and guide people to the brand’s own channel.

Why we use it

Where it is stored

Form submissions are stored as private objects in our enquiry store (Vercel Blob store afroamplify-enquiries), or locally for development. Optional creator profile photos use our R2 bucket and may appear at media.afroamplify.com under a profiles/ path. Gated desk files stay private under a desk/ prefix and are not served from that public media name. The team reads submissions in the desk inbox on the app host.

Who we share with

We share personal information with processors that host the site, storage, and mail for us, and with a client only as needed for a paid campaign (for example, creators confirmed for that job). When Google Tag Manager is enabled on the public site, Google may receive measurement data for tags we publish in that container. We do not sell your contact details. First payouts use mobile money or local transfer providers you named; we share what that payout requires.

Cookies and analytics

On the public site we may load Google Tag Manager when it is configured for the deployment. Tags inside that container (for example Google Analytics) may measure visits and set cookies on Google’s domains. The creator desk on app.afroamplify.com does not load Tag Manager. The site may also set what is needed for the service to work (for example session or security cookies from the host). There is no separate cookie banner yet; write to chat@afroamplify.com if you have a question about measurement.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and registration records while we may still need them to reply, place work, or prove what was agreed. Campaign and payout records stay for the life of the project and any period needed for disputes or law. Ask us if you want a record removed and we will say what we can delete.

Your rights

Depending on where you are, you may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold, or to object to certain uses. Write to chat@afroamplify.com. We will respond in plain language. South African residents may also contact the Information Regulator where POPIA applies.

Children

The site is for brands and adult creators. Do not register a minor. If you believe we hold a child’s data, tell us and we will remove it.

Changes

We may update this page when our practices change. The date at the top is the last update. Related pages: Terms, Content use, Data use.
